Michal Jonáš – Personal Trainer, Physical Therapist

I come from the Moravian-Silesian region, where I gained my first movement experiences. I played ice hockey on a professional level throughout my childhood, so it is no surprise that even after the end of my professional career, I continued to move only from a different point of view.

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in physical education from the University of Ostrava in Ostrava, my wife and I moved to Prague in 2017. I started at Charles University, where I began my master’s degree in the same field. After the first year of the master’s program, I decided to deepen my knowledge of human movement and the body by studying physiotherapy.

Immediately after graduating from physiotherapy, I became part of the Advance Training team. At the same time, I work as a physiotherapist for the Czech national basketball team under 18 years of age. I still haven’t given up my student career, and I’m currently doing my doctoral studies in Kinanthropology.
